Learn more at www.kennametal.com. The Manufacturing Supervisor position is responsible for supervising shop associates in a manufacturing and assembly environment. This position plans and assigns work, monitors and documents production matrix performance, administers company policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions (continuous improvement). Essential Functions Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development. Makes employment decisions. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution. Balance safety, quality, productivity, cost, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress feedback to associates and manager. Manage associates time and attendance. Manage customer priorities within areas of responsibility. Maintain proper inventory levels. Competencies Leadership Performance Management Problem Solving/Analysis Results Driven Communication Proficiency Supervisory Responsibility This position manages all associates assigned to the department and is responsible for the performance management and objective obtainments within that department. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk in a clear manor on the shop floor. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to lift and move product from location to location. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 33 pounds. Travel Less than 5% travel is expected for this position. Required Education and Experience Leadership role with responsibilities greater than 10 associates. Full working knowledge of Lean Principles/JIT methodologies. 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's degree. 5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Previous supervisory / management experience. Experience working in and leading in a Lean focused environment. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
