Category Analyst Walmart
Work closely with the Walmart Team & Business Unit to provide support in the areas of sales/data analysis, promotional analysis, market analysis, and developing sales solutions for our business at Walmart. This position is primarily focused on supporting the National Account Manager and Walmart buyers. Strong time management skills, problem solving skills, math skills, analytical and cognitive skills, technical skills, communication skills, & presentation skills are required.
What we offer (Job Duties):
Utilize & analyze POS & shipment data to interpret business indicators that evaluate and assist in sales, promotional, and distribution plans.
Identify key insights & sales opportunities through regular analysis and provide effective recommendations to the sales team.
Utilizes & analyze syndicated scanner data (IRI), household panel data, sales systems, custom research & other available IRI tools to provide support to field sales.
Provides support for customer appointments, customer line reviews, new item sell-in presentations, customer JBP sessions, and BU/HQ meetings.
Support National Account Managers, Walmart buyers, & Business Unit with general reporting, adhoc projects & analysis.
Who we are looking for:
Bachelors Degree and 2
years of similar experience within the consumer products industry or equivalent.
Excellent computer skills and strong technical skills including Retail Link, IRI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Takes initiative and is able to identify issues/opportunities and implement solutions with little direction.
Ability to manage multiple priorities & projects effectively at once.
