Job Description:
Our Glad Manufacturing Facility in Rogers Arkansas is looking for an individual to fill a key role in our plant. This individual will be responsible for technical leadership in our manufacturing and business operations, handle capital project engineering / project management and will be responsible for Safety, Quality, Operational Efficiency, improvement methods and cost reduction programs, as we move forward with World Class Operations (WCO) programs and initiatives.
The position is based in a manufacturing plant and will provide day-to-day and long-term technical input to Engineering and Operations leaders on process maintenance and continuous improvement. Support will include leading management of change, driving application of best practices, high-level technical training, focus on equipment and systems redesign, efficiency improvements, cost savings and line upgrades. Additionally, the person will have a degree of interaction with our corporate resources to influence the design for manufacturability of products and to assure successful transfer of new products onto the manufacturing systems and floor. May manage related capital projects.
Qualifications:
B.S. Electrical Engineering Degree
Minimum of 4-6 years related experience, with at least 2 years in manufacturing or plant engineering.
Must have good people skills and be team-oriented (member/leader), strong technical expertise and strong conceptual and systematic thinking skills.
Allen Bradley PLC controls experience
Control system set up and troubleshooting skills
Self-starter with Can Do attitude
Attention to detail
Demonstrated safety awareness and priority
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring
Analytical thinking
Demonstrated ability to try new ideas
Hands on - 75% of job is on the floor
Desired Qualifications:
TPM experience (autonomous maintenance, focused improvement, Kaizen, etc.)
Robotic Skills
Mechanical System Knowledge
Hydraulic and Pneumatic System Knowledge

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
