To excel in this role, you must demonstrate flexibilty within this role from filling in as a Pre-K Sub to giving lunch breaks.
Daily
Responsibilities:
Works well with others Be mold-able and willing to try new teaching methods Ensure the classroom environment is safe and clean.
Oversee students during classroom times including in-between classes, during lunch, and while on playground.
Collaborate with other lead teachers to recognize issues students are facing and recommend solutions.
Comply with state, school, and class rules and regulations.
Attend 20 hours of training per year through PDR.
Floater/Teacher Assistant Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
(Preferred) 1 year of experience as a teaching assistant or similar role.
Solid understanding of classroom activities and teaching best practices.
Must have a compassionate and positive attitude.
Hours Monday- Friday 4:
00-6:
00 Hours may be subject to change if you are filling in as a sub.
Pay Rate $12.
00-$13.
