Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to support and consult with the customer team in the development of Customer Category Business Plans. Activates Department and Category roadmap by providing insights, analytics and category reviews as required for specific customers. Leads the development of one or more categories by incorporating market, shopper segmentation, store clustering, customer & consumer insights to inform shelf and assortment plans and business building ideas.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:

Category Insights
Use Roadmaps, CAP? and category insights as the basis for appropriate product groupings, defining or understanding category structure, developing or understanding appropriate role for category
Provide recommendations based on consumer, supplier, marketplace and retailer assessments
Perform shelf performance assessments and integrates Nestl objectives into retailer strategies
Identify opportunities and recommended actions by conducting 4P market analyses of category for retailer and account team
Analyze retailer? data to identify shopper buying habits and trends and relates them to the category

Customer Category Plan Development, Review & Activation
Provide input into customer category plans and scorecards
Develop assortment, retail pricing, promotion, shelving and product strategies, tactics and plans
Collaborate with account management and shopper marketing team to deliver an implementation calendar for Roadmap activation
Identify opportunities through analysis of retailer marketplace intelligence
Support new item plans from a category perspective
Conduct periodic and annual category reviews
Oversee the conduct of category segmentation and assortment analyses for specific customers
Oversee the development and revision of plan-o-grams, if there is no Customer Category Assortment & POG Analyst
Conduct post analyses on key promotional events

Selling Support
Activate Category Roadmap at the customer-level
Develop sales presentations for the account management team utilizing a category perspective
Collaborate with account management and shopper marketing team to deliver Roadmap activation

Other Job Related Activities
Identify resources for account specific reports needed
Communicate insights and learnings back to COE and CSD
Experience:
3 years of experience in Sales or Marketing
Knowledge of Nestl and its trade customer base
Knowledge of Nestl categories
